Anyway, SN203 is back in the air towards DKR. So it must have been a medical. Maybe Lyon was the only hospital able to cure the illness of that passenger?

Saturday's TUI TB-623 returned to BRU half an hour after take off, causing also a huge delay for the return flight TB-624 from Miami too:

A TUI UK's A332 (G-VYGM) came to rescue:

Indeed. I published the story last night at 01:00 ;) https://www.aviation24.be/airlines/tui-f ... -saturday/

The TUI UK A332 is in fact operated by AirTanker.

Kalitta CKS244 operating BAH-BRU on behalf of DHL has always been taking the shorter route over Turkey. Since a few weeks CKS244 has been obliged to take a considerably longer route over Egypt. Kalitta seems to have a traffic rights issue with Turkey, possibly due to geopolitical tensions between Turkey and the USA.

Yesterday (22.04.2018) flight DL80 ATL-BRU started squawking 7700 some 20 minutes before landing in BRU. There was quite a number of fire engines and other vehicles rushing around 25L with sirens and blue lights flashing and also a helicopter hovering around the Belgocontrol area. After the plane (B763 reg. N1200K) landed on 25L, a 4x4 drove along the rwy. Meanwhile, the aircraft vacated rwy 25L on C5, continued briefly on OUTER-10, came to a halt and subsequently turned around using E3 and E1, eventually coming to full stop in front of the Satellite.

Does someone know what caused the emergency?

Monday's outgoing TUI TB-1937 from Brussels to Funchal was unable to land there: OO-TMA (737 MAX 8) went into holding near Funchal, but diverted to Faro.

On Tuesday morning, OO-TMA did (another) attempt to get from Faro to Funchal. After quite some holdings, they've landed:

The Ethiopian 787 was starting its left bank over Brussels (EU neighborhood) after T/o from 25R, with the gear still down. That's really weird. Anyone knows why?

Apparently a normal flight to Vienna:

...and from Vienna to Addis Ababa:

One brake deactived? Procedure as per minimum equipment list: gear remains down till the wheels stop spinning.

Could be a possible case (I think some months ago the same happened to another aircraft @ BRU, if I'm not mistaken it was an EK 777), another one might be overheating?

Overheated Brakes after T/O would be unusual, slightly hot brakes after T/O could certainly happen, though.

Today's TUI TB-2873 Brussels-Faro was operated by OO-JEM (ERJ-190):
https://www.flightradar24.com/data/flights/tb2873

Return flight TUI TB-2874 Faro-Brussels will be done by OO-JEB (also ERJ-190).
ETA TB-2874 was 20h05, but is now announced as delayed 03h20:
https://www.flightradar24.com/data/flights/tb2874

Thus: OO-JEM seems to be AOG at Faro, with most probably OO-JEB sent over with engineers - and to bring the passengers back home.
