So what happens if you book premium class (which is available on their site)? Do they upgrade you to business or do they throw you in cattle and are happy about the extra money they managed to get from you?

If they upgrade you to C iso throwing you into Y (which should be the case IMHO since they are selling a product they don't have and asking a premium for it) I kinda hope for KF that not to much people hear about it otherwise there's no reason to even book a C ticket. On the other hand if they throw you into cattle it should be made very clear that they don't honour what they are selling. Wouldn't want to be the guy arriving at the airport and finding out that they've put you in cattle while you paid extra, I wouldn't be very amused and probably very pissed of about it.

There are currently two C class sections: one with 30 seats in the front, and one with 15 seats behind the second door. The latter is considered as their Premium class. A nice upgrade, before the real Premium class is introduced for the Winter season!

This is a thread about Air Belgium, not about the use of languages in Belgium. Other posts will be removed!

At Air Belgium, 40% of the cabin crew are French-speaking, 40% Dutch-speaking and 20% of other language, mainly Chinese. And on board of each flight 5 languages are spoken: English, French, Dutch, Mandarin and Cantonese.

N77014 wrote: 10 Jun 2018, 11:03 I still don't understand what the AB "Premium" product consists of. Eco seats with more pitch ? Regular eco seats with upgraded meal service ? Flat beds but reduced service ( sounds weird though ) ? If it is a separate cabin, any pictures one can share ?
Have a look on AirBelgium.com, you will find all the info and pictures you need.
N77014 wrote: 10 Jun 2018, 12:24 Thanks, i did already many times, but IMHO, those pictures are not real. Do you see how wide the aisle is ? And the seats look like regular Eco, except with more pitch. I Think this is only an artist impression. Till now, I did not find any real picture of this separate cabin. Anyone has a hint where I could find some ?
Indeed, N77014: not all pictures that Air Belgium publishes, are reliable. Remember they posted a photo of a A340 at Charleroi, with a Ryanair aircraft in the background, when their aircraft were still parked at Tarbes, stripped from their Finnair outfit.

True with OO-ABB, you get the second C class section for Premium passagers.
With OO-ABA real Premium class in installed and ready.

(easy to see witch aircraft it is on the booking engine when they ask you to choose your seat)

Any updates on GDS?
This was one of the issues causing AB to delay their first flight.

I heard during the inaugural flight that negotiations were progressing.

Strange notice on Air France flight info, when I ask information on AF-977 12 June:
https://www.airfrance.be/BE/nl/local/re ... DesVols.do
"Flight canceled due to operational constraints".
01:35 Douala - KAMEROEN Douala (DLA)
09:06 Charles de Gaulle (CDG)
Geannuleerd

(my language setting there is Belgium - Dutch)

ABA went to CDG to replace ABB today.

ABB will come back at Charleroi due to a technical problem which can't be solved at Libreville (IFE, electrical issue?). Eta today 19:20 if I remember it well...

ABB seems to be at Libreville...

OO-ABA is currently flying to LBV. STA 1930, ETA 1955.
She will return this evening as AF977 STD 2220, STA 0630 at CDG.

Dust off the pillows, fold the blankets and RTB to CRL in time to fly KF851 STD 1430.

Nice fleet utilization.

I noticed ad posters promoting Air Belgium flights to Hong Kong (where else?) in a bus shelter today.

Guys, they are peppered around Brussels.

Does anyone know what the load factor for the other flights are these days?
