I've been keeping an eye on the AB site because I'm thinking of booking through them to fly to HKG with premium & business this summer.
While checking I found out that for both the flights underneath the whole business and premium section are sold out?
06 June 2018 CRL - HKG
&
08 June 2018 HKG -CRL
maybe they actually are flying then? ;) ;)

I'm pretty confident that AB will be able to survive and become something big. Me, myself a frequent traveller for the route BXL - HKG (2-3x a year) wouldn't mind traveling through CRL even my friends (HK) wouldn't mind.

Why is the fr24 trace so bad, when any 747 is very good ?
Wrong location of the antenna (on the plane i mean) ?

How many hours, say per 90 days / 1 year, must a pilot fly to keep his/her licence valid?

I understand quite a number have joined AB for "some" time now. Those charter flights could then be useful in this regard?

Thanks,

A couple of days ago, Niky Terzakis tweeted that he didn't have the overflight rights yet, but that customers should not worry: they would be offered alternatives or reimbursement in case of cancellations.

AB will have less flight frequency to Hong Kong as for June and July

Proof of my mail regarding my flight of 24th of June:
Indeed we had to modify our schedule in June and July due to the delayed authorization to overfly Russia and in your particular case the departure date should be modified from June 25th to June 24th if this acceptable for you ?

Air Belgium today issued a press release with the news of the Russian approval, and also with the reduction of frequencies. https://www.aviation24.be/airlines/air-b ... thorities/
Air Belgium wrote:Given the impact of the delayed launch, Air Belgium has been forced to adapt the frequency of its flights to Hong Kong during the launch phase. The company will offer two flights per week in June, followed by three per week from July onward and, finally, four per week from October onward.

Air Belgium will contact all passengers that are impacted by this change, and will offer them a tailored solution.
Niky Terzakis also confirmed the preparations for a third aircraft: "Meanwhile, we’re working hard to have the third plane ready by the end of June and are preparing the first flights to Mainland China, which are expected to launch in the coming months."

OO-ABA is flying for Condor these days: today from Leipzig to Tenerife and back, tomorrow from Leipzig to Antalya and back. In the meantime, her sister OO-ABB comes back from Munich with Audi people. They keep busy before the big start to Hong Kong!
