... which they seem to have realised, whence the idea of flying long distance with an A330 in the upcoming winter. It is going to be busy at Chinese airports ;)

It certainly did fly an Air France flight, the flight number was AFR380 if I'm not misremembering. Although FR may have picked it up as a "HQ" flight, I'm 100% sure the callsign was AFRxxx.

i'm confused, harm prins was fired by vlm, and since VLM brussels costs to much cash is was sold and harm prince bought it, or am I wrong?

VLM airlines Brussels has nothing to do with VLM Antwerp?

I'm not quite sure about the sequence of events, I'm quite sure somebody else will be able to fill that in.
However, as far as I know, that last part is indeed correct: VLM Antwerp (SHS Aviation, I think) has nothing to do anymore with VLM Brussels.

Indeed. That's why VLM Brussels intends to change names.

I checked yesterday, couldn’t find any positioning flights from or to BRU with a Lufthansa callsign. I’ll see if I can come up with another creative way to find out whether they flew for DLH :-)

Currently operating flights out of HAJ for Condor.

The newspaper probably confused Lufthansa and Germania. OOTCT operated many flights for Germania, as well as for SN, AF, JAF, Vueling, Condor and Transavia France.

The capital has been increased. So what? That doesn't tell anything about the plans of the company...

The capital has been increased indeed, but banks don't like that kind of stuff. The "capital input" is not in cash, but a claim on a Dutch company, owned by another Dutch company.

(edit: only relevant remark if they need some kind of support from the bank of course)

If I understand correctly, VLM is a Belgian company with its seat in Machelen.

Indeed, but the majority of the shares is in the hands of SF Aviation Holding B.V. in Amsterdam, a Director of which is (was?) ... Harm Jan Prins! Rings a bell?

SF Aviation Holding itself is a daughter of SoftFlight B.V., which has at the same address 4 subsidiaries active in the domain of aviation. Ah, those fiscal constructions to evade taxes...

Softflight is a dutch company specialized in flight simulators, having a 'company' for each sim.
Which actually makes sense...

The injection is good news for VLM Brussels, suspect new aircraft will be arriving soon...

Yes, VLM Airlines NV, seated at Building 45 of Brussels Airport, ex-TCAB :

Would be great if someone with accountancy experience can explain some of these figures:

(if the link fails, just search again on 0476635729)

Except the very last one, these are the annual reports of Thomas Cook Airlines Belgium.

The last one is another story: the transition period from TCAB to VLM, and thus difficult to analyse. It is before the huge capital increase mentioned above.

Some of the former TCAB directors are still in place until early-2017, and the new ones from SF Aviation Mangement BV already there (including the omnipresent Harm Prins and a Chinese from Maribor!).

The balance has a considerable reduction (due to the lack of aircraft and activity?) and shows a net loss of 7M€ (what a surprise!). The capital has also been considerably reduced and is still in the hands of Thomas Cook UK at the end of the period (it is before the capital increase by SF Aviation Management BV).

Oh yes: the company has one A320 and intends to lease a second one for the summer 2018 season. It also intends to lease two A330s for flights to Asia before end-2018...

Yes, huge. But if I read it correct, not one Euro from that 8.179.534 Euro has appeared on their bank account. From the notification in the Staatsblad/Moniteur: "...Het besluit van het verslag van de commissaris luidt letterlijk als volgt: “De inbreng in natura voor een bedrag van € 8.179.534 door de Besloten Vennootschap SF Aviation Holding, tot kapitaalverhoging van de naamloze vennootschap VLM Airlines (“de Vennootschap), bestaat uit de inbreng van schuldvorderingen ten bedrage van € 8.179.534 ten aanzien van de Besloten Vennootschap SF Aviation Holding...
