How many weeklyflight were them operating? I guess they stopped due to the concurrence of SN, SN has the big advantage to have a connecting flight to JFK and EWR with United, it help a lot SN.

Not sure the SLM A340 has anything to do with TUIfly Belgium

source caribbeannewsnow.com
"In a major development last week, SLM and the European carrier, TUIfly, announced a code-sharing partnership. The two carriers will fly five-times weekly between Amsterdam and Paramaribo. Four of those flights will be operated by SLM and one by TUIfly using SLM’s Airbus 340 and TUIfly’s Boeing 787 Dreamliner. However, during peak season TUI will increase its frequency to two.

Under the agreement, TUI will buy 80 seats each on two of SLM flights. The agreement has a life of three years. Then both companies will evaluate the partnership, and maybe move to a stronger agreement like what SLM had with KLM, Lachmising said. Also, TUI will charter SLM’s Airbus 340 to use on other routes.

TUIfly, with a fleet of nine aircraft, including three Dreamliner 787s, may enable SLM to move in the direction of twin-engine aircraft (ETOPS) certification to ply the mid-Atlantic route. With ETOPS certification, SLM can use modern and cost efficient aircraft such as the Boeing 767 / 787 and the Airbus 330 / 350.

When all the TUI airlines carry the same name TUI fly, confusion can indeed arise!

While the planes are still on a Dutch and a Belgian AOC, both fleets are joined into a TUIFly Benelux fleet.

Actually I wonder if they are still adding birds to the Dutch AOC, all the latest additions went onto the Belgian AOC, the last Dutch one was a 788 nearly 2 years ago.

Hello,
As Jetairfly became TUI fly Belgium, I have some questions about the other TUI fleets and their rebranding.

TUIfly (Germany) remains TUIfly :?:

Arke (Netherlands) became:
 TUI Airlines Netherlands :?:
 TUIfly Netherlands :?:
 TUI fly Netherlands :?:
 or ... :?:

Thomson Airways (UK) became:
 TUI Airways (I saw this name recently on Skyliner)
 or ... :?:

Sorry for these little off topic questions. ;)

The commercial name for all the group airlines is or will be TUIFly. Nothing more, nothing less.

TUIFly Germany is going to leave the group...

It's more clear now.

No names yet, there is nothing (officially) confirmed at the moment. It will depend on the production of other airlines of the group.
