Nice bird that C-Series at Swiss. Plenty of legroom.

I had the opportunity to fly it for the first time last month on my last leg returning from Indonesia, I flew on both HB-JBC and HB-JBB.
The former for the first 500 metres out of ZRH then, after returning to gate with a defective FADEC, the latter for the remaining part of the flight to BRU.
;)

According to The Aviation Herald, the plane was flying from Puerto Plata to Warsaw. I believe it was the other way around.

The aircraft continued its journey from Amsterdam to Copenhagen some 1,5 hours after landing at AMS. And meanwhile, the A321 landed at end destination CPH at 17h35 UTC.

It was a medical onboard emergency that every one in aviation (crew, passengers, atc, ground) hopes it will never happen on their flight: a medical fatality.

check audio at 17min 38sec: SK-584 (callsign Scandinavian 54E) calling AMS atc. Quite shocking, but there is nothing else the crew could say:

Airplane diverted following a ‘racist rant’ and abuse by passenger

Post by Cody12 »

An airplane flying from Sydney, Australia to US had to unexpectedly change its course. This happened because a fuming traveler was abusing a flight assistant and described her as ‘fat arse’.
