The dumb part of your question was the "once more a technical diversion"...

Can you please make a list of the technical diversions you know of the JDL?
Right, maybe I expressed myself wrong and should I have stated "has he once more technical problems". But I can think of one technical diversion, yes. Last year a friend of me living at the Belgian coast, who doesn't know anything from planes, saw the jdl turning round and rounds and rounds at our coast to dump his fuel so he could fly back to Brussels. There you have your technical diversion ;)

Right! One turn-back to BRU in 3 years time. For an aircraft that flies 6 days per week. Almost 24/7.

Still don't see the dumb part of the question?

Yeah yeah I already mentioned that in a previous post so I saw it :D anyways if it's a medical one hopefully the passenger is doing fine.

Oeps sorry. Thought it was a thread about diversions and so on. I might have misread the title!

Not every situation where a plane has to dump fuel before returning back to its base or divert to a nearby suitable airport, is a technical diversion.

Indeed. It was diversion BRU to BRU because of a slat/gear problem. It was reported on Luchtzak.be, and also reported here:
http://avherald.com/h?article=497afea4&opt=0
"...The Aviation Herald received information stating that maintenance found the outboard skew sensor 5 failed and the outboard slat #4 breakaway connector open. Maintenance had needed to open the cable assembly to #4 and #5 slats to solve an issue with a heater mat on Apr 29th 2016, the tension of the cables was set too high afterwards causing the breakaway connector to open while the slats retracted..."

KLM KL-565 Amsterdam-Nairobi (passenger flight 747-400 PH-BFL) is returning to AMS Schiphol at this very moment. The 747 made a U-turn when it was already quite far away from its home base:
