SriLankan secures buyers for A350s
Sri Lanka's Deputy Minister for State Enterprises, Eran Wickramaratne, says national carrier SriLankan Airlines is in the process of disposing of its four A350-900s, ordered from Airbus Industrie in 2013.
According to Reuters, Wickramaratne said that of the four, one had been sold to an undisclosed lessor for a "reasonably good price" while talks concerning the the remaining three are still ongoing.
The move is part of a cost-cutting exercise aimed at improving the debt-ridden carrier's books ahead of a planned privatization process due to launch later in the year.

Re: Airbus A350 news
A bad habit in the making? The Airbus A350 XWB is developed for a 3-3-3 seating in economy class (just like the 777 by the way). But Air Caraïbes thinks differently: the A350s that will be delivered to them will be configured with a 3-4-3 seating (just like most 777s now). I vow never to fly them!

The first Airbus A350 for Air Caraïbes ready for painting in Toulouse. Likely to become the first A350 with 10-abreast seating instead of the regular 3-3-3 (thus it will never see me on board).
