Re: ECAir flies Brazzaville to Paris despite ban, with Priva
that's why they started the co-operation with privatair in the first place, so the european route structure would be available to them. They are also planning to start more african routes with a second B733 from privatair. Onwards and upwards

Re: AA will stop BRU - JFK
I'm happy I actually booked with United in june, in hindsight :-/ Wasn't too keen on going over the atlantic in a 757 anyway, just a stretched 737 in my opinion Shame to see AA go though, especially for those people that will lose their job.

Re: Three Ryanair "emergency" landings in Valencia on same d
Inquirer, "some airlines" do not have the policy of taking only as much as absolutely needed. For example on friday we took 800kg on top of plog fuel due to some trouble in BCN. Nothing was needed to "convince" the airline to except that. A little note on the flightplan with a re...

Re: Three Ryanair "emergency" landings in Valencia on same d
Did anyone also tell you guys the LAN actually had an engine flame out because of being low on fuel, yet everyone is bitching about 1 out of 3 FR planes being 75kg below minimum fuel requirements. Strange one that, isn't it???

Re: Ryan air Stress
I loathe?? I don't loathe any airline. Your use of the word "friend" was not in a friendly manner, it was used in a demeaning manner. Further more as you seem to think all the crew in FR are just MOL little minions which couldn't be any more further from the truth! I do strongly believe th...

Re: Ryan air Stress
Thank you convair for a civilised answer. I can assure you that most of FR captains don't really give a cr*p about MOL's barking at all. As far as most crew are concerned, he can bark whatever he wants, they will take the safe decision.

Re: Ryan air Stress
I'm not asking everybody to shut up, I'm just trying to explain why the crew did what they did. I knew I shouldn't have asked for collegialty from you as you feel far above "lo-co" crew Well, I hope never to fly on a plane on which you "execute" your duty ! euhm excuse me, I'm no...

Re: Ryan air Stress
If you look at the the information presented in the comment above by shockcooling, they would have had to wait about 9 minutes more before engine could be started and they would have been on their their way airconditioned and all. instead they chose too stage a mutiny and get themselves another 2 ho...

Re: Ryan air Stress
Its not really company policy to sit 45 min daily in an airplane as believe it or not, most of our flight are actually on time. You are totally clueless about the professionals that work for us. Off course they cannot all be gods gift to aviation like you claim to be. 99% of our captains would have ...

Re: Ryan air Stress
B. I totally agree with you. In my opinion the CRM skills were pretty poor and I, as a PU, would have perhaps voiced my concerns more strongly. I do believe however that this is another ryanair incident that is blown out of proportion. The whole thing took 45 min to resolve, which to be honest in av...

Re: Ryan air Stress
but surely opening the doors isn't a complicated and costly solution to come up with , nor does it involve great captaincy to order it: in fact it is plain common sense to do so and so is the decision to deboard everybody, even if the airport at EIN is just a small one: it's becoming a general heal...

Re: Ryan air Stress
Nowhere do I read Police was involved?? http://www.ed.nl/specials/airport/11560822/Passagiers-vliegtuig-Ryanair-oververhit.ece In fact the only thing I read was the CREW calling the police to deal with abusive passengers cause they felt threatened. WHich apparently is acceptable this day and age. Sa...
