When I'm in Xiamen, sometimes we pass the Taeco hangars and I almost always see a Lufthansa 747 standing there.
Kind regards,
Stij

Pity only the rich can afford to fly with them. Their Brussels to Zurich route is extortion! The award mustn't pay much heed to the ability to turn a profit... Flew to Boston round trip this summer, and they were the cheapest (by far!) I liked their punctual flights, good food and (free) drinks, go...

You take big risks arriving at the airport so shortly beofre departure! I know, but as we had our boardingpasses already in our hand, no luggage to check in, the train between Leuven and the airport runs very punctual and I'm pretty good in the 650m sprint with trolley, the risk isn't that big. Rig...

The beer was still Maes Pils, but the can had been reduced from 33 cl to 25 cl, for the same price. When I complained to the stewardess, she said that there had been a mistake in the delivery and offered me a second can free of charge in compensation. It could be true, yesterday evening I got a 33c...

Here we go: BRU BGY 4/10 SN3163 I checked in on line already a day ahead and we got seats 6A and 6C on an Avro RJ100. Thursday morning I left my appartment in Leuven at 6:00, took the train at 6:07, arrived at the airport at 6:21 and as we didn't have any luggage, we proceeded immediatly to the secu...

BRU - BGY - BRU
Dear friends,
any luchtzakker flying the SN3163 from BRU to BGY tomorrow morning October 4th or SN3166 from BGY to BRU Sunday evening October 7th? Please fly carefully as I'll be on board.
Cheers,
Stij

Just had a thought, a bit off-topic but: Isn't the Fokker 100 aircraft more suitable for B.air's operations than the Avro? Fuel consumption is about 30% lower than the Avro, and maintenance costs are strongly reduced because of 2 engines instead of 4. And if they need spare parts, they just need to...

6 Oysters for 11 Euros is not that expensive for an airport. The other dishes arent't cheap, but when you compare the quality and the price to the self service area, I find the price/quality ratio to be better. But IMHO the best deal at Brussels Airport is the Pilot's Club. I find it to be OK in pri...

BRU - ATH - BRU on Olympic
For two days work I flew Sunday evening to Athens and back on Tuesday evening on Olympic Airways. I decided to fly Olypic instead of Bru Air because they were much cheaper and still offer a full-service. A colleague of mine already flew to Athens on Olypic on Friday the 14th with the same flight and...

MIA and MCO ... I still remember the very popular and almost always overbooked flights during the citybird era. Off topic, I know!!! Used to work there, can't remember we overbooked. Anyhow, never had complaints about that. Emergency landings and delays of that MD11 on the other hand... Cheers, Stij
