Yeah, the A380 would be at its best on popular long range fares such as JFK-CDG, but if it remains a rare bird, Airbus won't enjoy mass production cost cuts, and the market will stay centered around more modest planes... I'm afraid that this good looking fat goose isn't going anywhere.

Well, it can still be useful, especially if you say approximatively how long before the flight you bought your ticket. Anyways, I'm glad to see that this new airline isn't bad! Do they have flights often or are they going once in a blue moon?

I live in Russia, and sometimes see Tupolevs flying overhead... It's always cool to see one big guy flying over and see a news article being published a couple hours later about that.
