Re: Ryanair flight from Brussels to Malta diverts to Pisa after passenger fight

?? DIBO and PASSENGER, where on earth did you get tour figures from? I flew from the age of 18 and I am 65 now at the rate of about 20 flights a year and I have experienced only once an unruly passenger ! And it was on Delta, not exactly an LCC.

Re: VLM Airlines taken over by management, buys SSJ100 aircraft

Thank you Acid drop, you summed up the Liège situation very well. I do not think the city of Liège itself provides a lot of passengers for the airport, so the fact that it is a relatively small city doesn't really matter. I drove relatives of mine last week for their flight to Tenerife and had a loo...

Re: Ryanair in 2014

Sean, Nope, is the normal fare of today, just checked it on SN's website! The comparison is wrong. Cheers, Stij This is all getting slightly ridiculous. All fare quotes are for October 13 as mentioned in my first post and the "waive" of 149 € is a commercial gesture towards me. Passenger ...

Re: Ryanair in 2014

Toli, as a former Sabena pilot you let your nostalgia take over your feelings and thus let them blindly destroy all common sense.( how pompous was that !) Just booked a day trip to Venice for October 13th from BRU to BRU. The choice Vueling + Ryanair: 112,74 € including seat reservations ( Vueling o...

No F-35, no Cseries. It must have been a really boring show for the participants. Not that boring I'd say! Air Transat not recommended by friends

Why?? I sold dozens of A.T. tickets over the years, never had a complaint. Booked a group of 8 regulars from Bru and 4 from MRS for this year Canadian Formula 1 GP for less than 500 € each. Very unfair remark I'd say.

Re: SN flights to Paris CDG

There are some flights that don't do too well on BRU-CDG-BRU I guess. I booked a group of 14 passengers today doing YUL-CDG-BRU on AC ( direct flight was full) and AC are not even code sharing on the CDG-BRU leg. Only UA does. So it seems SN opened the flights to all Star Alliance companies, not jus...

Re: AvGeek trip to Lyon - Why not with HOP! ?

(I wonder how they have been numbering the seats to arrive at row 19!)
On some airlines, there are no row 13 and no 17 for superstition reasons: "13" for most of Europe, "17 " for Italy .
Ok that makes 17, still 2 rows too many !
