A small Piper Seneca ended next to the runway after attempting a take-off at Rotterdam The Hague airport Tuesday evening. Two Transavia flights, PH-XRA from Split and PH-HZO from Ibiza, were forced to divert to Amsterdam Schiphol.

Shortly after the incident the aircraft was removed from the runway and the airport reopened.

Exemplary image, not the belated aircraft.
