The inaugural flight was celebrated with a traditional ribbon-cutting ceremony. Among those in attendance were (from left): Andreas von Puttkamer (Head of Aviation / Munich Airport), Dr. Michael Kerkloh (President and CEO / Munich Airport), Philip Saunders (CCO/Kuwait Airways) and Mohammed Al-Enezi (Manager of German Operations / Kuwait Airways). The new route will be served with A340 jetliners.
