Drunk copilot was caught at Schiphol, paid €5,000 and continued his journey as … a passenger

Last Thursday a drunk copilot “got caught” at Schiphol Airport, website Haarlem105.nl reports.

The 26 year old pilot was arrested by the aviation police, after a test with the breathalyzer he was found to have three times the legal limit of alcohol in his system: 0,73 where 0,20 is allowed. The equivalent of 1 Duvel or Leffe Blond.

The pilot – from a undisclosed foreign airline – was fined €5.000, which he paid straigthaway. He continued his journey as a passenger on his own flight.
