Ryanair website and app closed for 8 hours for upgrade Wednesday night

WEBSITE CLOSED 7.30PM WED 22 MARCH TO 3.30AM THUR 23 MARCH

Ryanair today (21 Mar) confirmed that its website and mobile app will close for 8 hours for a systems upgrade, from 19:30hrs (GMT+1) on Wednesday 22nd March, until 03:30hrs (GMT+1) on Thursday 23rd March, and that its online check-in service will not be available during this period. Ryanair urged all customers travelling on Wednesday and Thursday to check-in online for their flight on Tuesday, 21st March, before the above web closure takes place. New bookings or changes to existing flights will not be possible during this web closure.

Ryanair has contacted all customers booked to travel on Wednesday 22nd and Thursday 23rd March by email and SMS text to advise them to check in online on Tuesday, 21st March to avoid this disruption. Ryanair apologises for any inconvenience caused by this web closure/systems upgrade.

Ryanair’s Robin Kiely said:

This web closure and systems upgrade will take 8 hours, from 19.30hrs (GMT+1) on Wednesday 22nd March, until 03:30hrs (GMT+1) on Thursday 23rd March, during which time our online check-in service will not be available. Flight bookings and changes will also be unavailable during this period. Customers travelling on Wednesday or Thursday should check-in for their flight on Tuesday, 21st March. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused by this upgrade, which will further improve Ryanair.com, Europe’s largest travel website, as we continue our path to becoming the Amazon of Travel.
