Swiss International Air Lines (SWISS)1 transported 1,664,679 passengers in July, 0.7% more than in the same period last year. Total monthly capacity, measured in available seat-kilometres (ASK), was increased 0.7% compared to July 2016, while total traffic volume, measured in revenue passenger-kilometres (RPK), was up 1.5%.
Systemwide seat load factor for July improved accordingly, rising 0.8 percentage points to 88.7%.
SWISS operated 12,599 flights in the month, 5.1% fewer than in July 2016.
