[Trip report] Flying Eurowings between Dusseldorf and Vienna on Brussels Airlines operated Airbus A340

On 20 March, an Airbus A340 lifted for Eurowings for the first time ever. Flight EW9778 started in the morning in the North Rhine-Westphalia state capital and landed in Vienna just under an hour later. It is the first of three aircraft that Brussels Airlines will operate in Düsseldorf on behalf of Eurowings. In the coming weeks, the long-haul jets will initially be used for the line training of the pilots on short-haul flights to Vienna and Palma de Mallorca, and from the end of April, they will cross the Atlantic. One day after the inaugural flight, Felix Reimann was on board flight EW9778 and EW9779 and took a few pictures of his flight between Dusseldorf and Vienna and back to Dusseldorf. On the ground Felix was able to take a picture from the cockpit and from the crew, on his flights Felix commented: “It was a great experience with very friendly crew, a clean aircraft, great service and even the seating comfort was ok. So for me clearly 4 stars!
