- Low-cost airline flies from Isar to Rhine several times a day as of October 2017
- Eurowings further strengthens base in Southern Germany and continues rapid pace of development at MUC airport
- Up to four bookable flights a day, perfect for business travellers
Big news for the Oktoberfest, for Bavarians and Rhinelanders alike – as Eurowings continues to expand its new base in Munich, Europe’s fastest growing airline is adding the Munich-Cologne route to its portfolio with daily connections as of October. The move follows the launch of more than 30 new flight connections at the end of March 2017 and the decision to operate low-cost long-haul flights from Munich. The first flight departs on 30 October at 6:45 and lands in Cologne at 7:55. Both cities are perfectly connected for business travellers with up to four flights a day on Tuesdays and Thursdays and three flights on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
The airline offers attractive early morning/late evening connections on Saturdays: the flight leaves Munich at 6:45 with the return flight set for 8:35. The evening flight from Munich to Cologne departs at 17:10 with the return flight scheduled for 19:00. On Sundays, Eurowings will fly from the Isar to the Rhine at 17:00 and back again at 21:10.
The new Eurowings flights between Cologne/Bonn and Munich can already be booked at www.eurowings.com or via the Eurowings app. There is also the option on the website to book budget package holidays through the Eurowings Holidays tour operator. These combine the new flight options with attractive hotel offers.
