New: Fly from Munich to the world’s most beautiful beaches with Eurowings

  • Today the airline launched another new intercontinental route from Munich and will fly direct to Bangkok twice a week in the future
  • Fly to the world’s most popular tourist destination at attractive prices
  • With a total of ten new long-haul routes from Munich this summer, Eurowings is driving forward consistent expansion at its largest location in the south

Fly to the world’s most popular tourist destination with Eurowings. Today (Friday, 15 June 2018), the airline launched another new long-haul service from Munich – this time to Bangkok, the capital of Thailand. Initially once a week, then twice a week from 15 July, what is now the second largest airline at Munich airport will fly to the most visited city in the world, hosting more than 20 million tourists a year. Travellers from Munich can look forward not only to one of the most fascinating capitals but also access to Thailand’s heavenly beaches.

The long-haul service to Bangkok is one of ten new routes, in addition to its dense network of German and European routes, that the airline is offering from Terminal 2 at Munich airport this year. Alongside Düsseldorf, the Bavarian airport is Eurowings’ second location for long-haul services. Passengers can also combine both departure airports: many destinations – including Bangkok – are offered from both airports. In the coming winter flight schedule, Bangkok can only be booked via Düsseldorf, but the summer flight schedule allows passengers from Munich to take direct flights on Fridays and Sundays up to the end of October.

The eleven-hour flight will be operated with an Airbus A330 in long-haul configuration with generous seat spacing, creative in-flight catering and one of the most advanced entertainment systems. Passengers can even surf the Internet during the flight. At bargain prices starting from EUR 199.99 per one-way flight, all Eurowings flights can be booked quickly and conveniently via the Eurowings app or the website: www.eurowings.com.

With the launch of yet another long-haul service, Eurowings is continuing its rapid and consistent development at Germany’s second-largest airport. The airline only started flight operations from Munich airport, located in the Erdinger Moos area, at the end of March last year and now, in addition to the A320 medium-haul fleet, it also has three long-haul aircraft of the Airbus A330 type based there. The addition of two Caribbean routes to Montego Bay in Jamaica and Puerto Plata in the Dominican Republic is also scheduled for July.
