Steve Tarbuck is the new Vice President Ground Operations & Airport Services of Brussels Airlines. Together with his teams, he will manage and further develop the airline’s ground operations and airport services,  in line with the Brussels Airlines’ strategy to emphasize even more on customer experience and service.

With over 30 years of experience in both civil and military aviation, Steve Tarbuck started his career as an air traffic controller with the Royal Air Force, and worked in the areas of ramp supervision for Servisair and security at Go Fly.

He then moved to Denmark where he took up the responsibility for ground operations at Sterling Airlines in Copenhagen.  After the bankruptcy, Steve stayed on in Denmark working for Copenhagen Airport where he was involved in the development of a low cost terminal and aeronautical business development of the airport. Before joining Brussels Airlines Steve was working at Qatar Airways in a commercial innovation role.

Brussels Airlines has a strong focus on customer experience and innovation. In his role, Tarbuck will be responsible for further developing and implementing new innovations in terms of Airport Services.

We are very happy to welcome Steve to Brussels Airlines. We are convinced that, with his vast aviation experience, he will be able to add great value to our operations and to the  services we provide to our guests on the ground.”
