TAP Portugal and Ethiopian Airlines, both Members of Star Alliance, started offering combined code-shared flights between Portugal and Ethiopia.
The new code-share services, built on convenient connections via selected gateways operated by both airlines, are available for travel as of today, November 24, on both carriers’ websites, respectively, flytap.com and ethiopianairlines.com as well as through the Global Distribution Systems.

Ethiopian’s expanding network will allow a wide and diverse field of service choices between the hubs of our two airlines, as well as beyond Addis Ababa to destinations in East Africa, thereby contributing to our mission of providing a diverse and convenient span of services to our Customers. Passengers of TAP and Ethiopian, both Star Alliance member carriers, already enjoy, since December 2011, the loyalty benefits derived from the link between the frequent flyer programs of both airlines.
TAP is therefore proud to announce Addis Ababa as its newest African destination served by means of this new code-share partnership with Ethiopian Airlines.
