Take a holiday with easyJet
This summer, easyJet is flying the extra mile to offer its customers a range of new flight destinations. The airline will be significantly expanding its flight plan from Berlin-Tegel. Frequencies of existing domestic routes will be increased and a new connection from Tegel to Cologne-Bonn Airport will be added. Popular summer destinations like Alicante, Biarritz, Corfu, Faro, Minorca and Pula, as well as Nordic destinations like Gothenburg and Oslo, will be included in the new flight plan from Berlin. In addition, easyJet has released five additional, available routes. In total, the airline will be flying more than 100 routes from Schönefeld and Tegel this summer, meaning that a number of hugely attractive destinations are being made available through the summer flight plan. An easyJet aeroplane with a Berlin-inspired paint job was celebrated today in Tegel.
The extensive summer flight plan and the expansion of the easyJet base in Tegel mark a further, essential milestone of the successful partnership between the airline and Berlin’s airports. Since their maiden flight to Liverpool in 2004, much has changed. easyJet has continuously expanded its route network to Berlin and stationed a total of twelve aeroplanes in Schönefeld. Since January 2018, easyJet has also started flying from Berlin-Tegel and has expanded to become the biggest base outside of Great Britain.
