Crash: United Nations helicopter crashed on takeoff today in Democratic Republic of the Congo

United Nations helicopter SA330 from Pakistan Army Aviation crashed on takeoff at Bukavu, eastern in Democratic Republic of the Congo on April 12, 2017.

The Puma helicopter with registration ‘UN809’ operating on behalf of United Nations Organization Stabilization Mission in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (MONUSCO) was substantially damaged when it crashed on landing at Kavumu, DRC.

This video of the incident shows the helicopter slamming into the ground while hovering, and coming to rest on its right side.
