Italian bike trial champion Vittorio Brumotti traveled on Alitalia; two damaged bikes

Share

The Italian bike trial champion Vittorio Brumotti (Twitter: https://twitter.com/brumottistar) is not very happy with the luggage handling on his Alitalia flights to say the least.

On his Alitalia flight towards the Los Angeles his bike got damaged. In a tweet he shows the damage and says:

I’m speechless. I travel with the national flag carrier Alitalia and they destroy my bike! Never again!

Luckily he quickly received a replacement bike to shoot a fabulous movie (watch at the bottom of this article), however on arrival back at Milan Linate airport his second bike got damaged too! In a movie on twitter he shouts: “You’ve pissed me off, Alitalia, you’ve destroyed my second bicycle too!“.

Working for 25 years in the aviation industry, I changed my career and became a firefighter/EMT in 2021. I like to spend my free time with my two sons, girlfriend, family and friends. I love to travel, wine and dine and support my favourite football squad KV Mechelen. Once an Ironman 70.3 finisher and dreaming of completing a full distance.
