Air China unveils brand new Airbus A350-900 in “Expo 2019 Beijing”-livery

Air China is adding Airbus A350-900s to their fleet of around 400 aircraft, it’s the first mainland Chinese operator to place an order for the aircraft.

According to ch-aviation, the airline has now set the start of commercial operations for the type for 1 September with twice daily flights between Beijing and Chengdu, most likely for training purposes. The airline has ten Airbus A350-900 on order, of which six are scheduled for this year, and the remaining four due next year.

Airbus today revealed the “Expo 2019 – Beijing”-livery on this brand new beauty.
